As contemplated in section 188, the Commission is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the following Acts:- (1) Close Corporations Act, 1984 (Act No. 69 of 1984)
- (2) Share Blocks Control Act, 1980 (Act No. 59 of 1980)
- (3) Co-operatives Act, 2005 (Act No. 14 of 2005)
- (4) Copyright Act, 1978 (Act No. 98 of 1978)
- (5) Performers Protection Act, 1967 (Act No. 11 of 1967)
- (6) Registration of Copyright in Cinematograph Films Act, 1977 (Act No. 62 of 1977)
- (7) Counterfeit Goods Act, 1977 (Act No. 37 of 1997)
- (8) Designs Act, 1993 (Act No. 195 of 1993)
- (9) Merchandise Marks Act, 1941 (Act No. 17 of 1941)
- (10) Patents Act, 1978 (Act No. 57 of 1978)
- (11) Trade Marks Act, 1993 (Act No. 194 of 1993)
- (12) Unauthorised Use of Emblems Act, 1961 (Act No. 37 of 1961)
- (13) "Vlaglied" Copyright Act, 1974 (Act No. 9 of 1974)
- (14) Protection of Businesses Act, 1987 (Act No. 99 of 1978)
- (15) Part A of Chapter 4 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (Act No. 68 of 2008)
